As a teenager, Brian Garrett thought high school had no relevance to his life. He played guitar in a band, stayed out late, and eventually dropped out of school. But when Brian started to look for work a few
years later, he found that not having a high school credential was a real obstacle. He decided to earn his GED® test credential, enrolled in a GED® preparation class at the Dayton Learning Center, studied, and passed the tests. For Brian, earning a GED® test credential changed his life in more ways than one! He has since opened his own automotive repair shop and married his former GED® teacher.
