Virginia GED ® Success Stories: September 2012

Warren Warren Checklist Warren Map

Giving back to his community wasn’t Neill Warren’s top priority when, at age 15, he dropped out of high school; however, that’s exactly what he’s spent the last 21 years doing. Since earning his GED® test credential in 1980, Neill has received degrees in teaching, math, and computer science from Thomas Nelson Community College and Old Dominion University. All of this prepared Neill for his career in the classroom, teaching math to high school students by day and GED® learners by night. Neill now works with young people, helping them navigate many of the same challenges he faced. And for that job, he has had excellent preparation.
